Toying with UDK

Hi everyone

Today for something entirely different  - Physics!
i started importing assets into out Game Engine, the Unreal engine.
dabbling with this phenomenal engine is a lot of fun, as shown here in the video.
it's a very basic test of how static meshes can react in a fun way in-game.
this effect may look simplistic but it gives a lot of feedback to the player, hence contributing to the immersive experience we are trying to create.

  1. This chair - is the best chair EVAR!

  2. This reminds me of 6th grade... I was piling sets of chairs in da corridor, and trying to jump above them

  3. lol well, school's in. :)

also - i was suddenly hit by what this setup reminded me of - Mirror's Edge. the high saturation colour and the furniture matching the blue checkers on the wall really hits that vibe for me. let's keep the checkered texture! :D

  4. How do you keep the chair collisions enabled while it is attached to your pawn?

  5. Yeah, how do you do that!!!
